The new Mazda 3 released recently will be equipped with the latest 2.0 and 2.5 liter gasoline engines in the Skyactiv-G series, with improved intake port and cylinder design, as well as a new injection system and thermal management system, all of which belong to Mazda ’s latest Skyactiv- X engine-the world’s first mass-produced compression ignition gasoline engine.
Ordinary gasoline engines basically use spark plugs to stimulate electric sparks to ignite the mixture of air and fuel, while diesel engines have no ignition device and use a high compression ratio to compress the combustible mixture to the ignition point. The new engine will also be paired with the M Hybrid hybrid system and four-wheel drive system, supplemented by the GVC Plus acceleration vector control system, in an effort to achieve better fuel economy while maintaining the original driving pleasure.
