However, in the European market, Volkswagen has already deployed four miniature pure electric models-Volkswagen e-up. Recently, the price of Volkswagen ’s new e-up in the UK market has also been announced, with a starting price of 19,695 pounds (about 180,000 yuan), but the British government also provides subsidies to consumers who buy electric vehicles. The purchase price will be less than 180,000 yuan.
In terms of appearance, the new e-up does not change much from the old model. It is adjusted in details. The overall shape is still round and cute, and it will still be loved by many female owners. As for the interior, it still maintains Volkswagen’s consistent family shape. In terms of power, the new e-up is equipped with a drive motor with a maximum power of 61kW and a peak torque of 212N · m, and a battery pack with a capacity of 32.3kWh . The WLTP operating range has a maximum cruising range of 246km. The 0-100km / h acceleration time is 11.9 seconds and the top speed is 130km / h.
In general, the new e-up will be very popular among British consumers due to its very low entry price, and after a government subsidy, due to its good price-performance ratio. However, compared with domestic models of the same price, in the face of cost-effective domestic electric models and Tesla , the product power of the new e-up still has a lot of room for improvement.
